Tonight: A Fermentation of Verse, to prepare you for Friday night's Stories on Stage; then round out the weekend at Monday night's Poems For All!

Poets and soon-to-be-poets, and lovers of fiction and writing general:

Check out SPC's website for info on tonight's poetry open mic--A Fermentation of Verse--at River City Brewing Company.

The event starts at at 7:00 at Downtown Plaza in Sacramento. Open mic for all who "wish to wax poetic about hops, kräusening, the wort and the mash." $2.50/pint all night!

Crawl out of your--ahem!--recovery in time to check out Stories on Stage this Friday night, featuring dramatic performances of the fiction of Lori Ostlund, author of The Bigness of the World, and of Davis based emerging writer Adam Russ.

By Monday, you'll be in top form to take in the Poems for All reading at SPC, featuring lots of local poets, all of whom have been published by Richard Hansen in his incredibly small, incredibly awesome Poems For All series! You've got to check these tiny books out. They are ultra portable and ultra powerful. See you there?
