Hear Our Voices: Creative Writing Workshop For Teens at Rancho Cordova Library

Program Dates: Saturdays, September 10, 17 and 24, 2011
Teen writers in all genres are invited to gather at
the library for a fun three-session writing workshop led by Kate Asche,
associate director of Arts, Humanitiess and Writing at UC Davis
Extension. Spend some time exploring and honoring your unique voice(s)
and get started on new pieces of writing. If you like, share your
just-written work with the group. You'll receive helpful encouragement
and feedback about what is beautiful, memorable and strong in your new
drafts.
No previous writing necessary. Just sign up and get
ready to write! Please note: Signing up is required prior to the first
meeting.
Participants are expected to attend all 3 sessions:
Saturday September 10, 12-3 pm; Saturday September 17, 3:30-6:30 pm;
Saturday September 24 12-3 pm.Library: Rancho Cordova
